Exmoor

Exmoor is protected for the conservation of its scenery, wildlife
and cultural heritage and for the understanding and enjoyment which
it can provide. Exmoor's landscape ranges from deep ancient wooded

provides stunning panoramic views from Exmoor's coast to countryside.

Exmoor National Park was created in 1954:
- To conserve
and enhance the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage
of the National Park; and
- To promote
opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the special
qualities of the Park by the public
