Harvest
This year St Peter's School celebrated Harvest by holding a service in St Peter's Church, Williton. We visited the church on Monday 27th September 2010 at 10am and were very pleased to see so many friends and families join us. All children from the school took part in the service sharing songs, poems, artwork and stories.
This year St Peter's have decided to raise money for the Pakistan Floods Appeal. Money was raised by raffling large hampers of fresh and tinned fruit and vegetables – thank you for your donations!
Pakistan Floods Appeal
Over 1,600 people are reported to have died and 20 million people are believed to have been affected by the floods. In the aftermath there is now a serious risk to survivors from potentially deadly diseases, including cholera, which can spread as a result of contaminated surface and drinking water.
The money raised at St Peter’s this year will help fund life saving work. You can find details of how the UK Government is helping by following this link.
