On Tuesday 16th March 2010 Fir and Yew Class visited Danesfield. We met with other students from Danesfield and Old Cleeve to learn about road safety. We had a fun time giggling at the clown and even spinning plates!

We learnt some important messages. We know it is important to cross the road with an adult until we are old enough to do this safely alone. We know we must STOP, LOOK, LISTEN and THINK.

Even when crossing at a pelican crossing, when the man is green, we must check the road is safe. Unfortunately many adults and children are injured on the roads each day. We are going to remember what we learnt and keep ourselves safe.
