As from May 2007 St Peter's First School is part of a Federated Governing Body which is joined together with Danesfield Church of England Middle School and Old Cleeve First School.

The Governing Body comprises of parents, local authority members, foundation governors, parish council members and staff representatives from each school. They are all appointed for a 4 year term of office.
