I am delighted to welcome you to St Peter's C of E First School. We are a small First School with over 100 children aged from 4 to 9 and we have excellent facilities and resources. Our building is 14 years old, has extensive school grounds, and a committed staff team.

We are very proud of our Christian ethos, and have strong links with St Peter's Church in Williton. We do of course welcome families of all faiths to our school, and aim to create an environment which is truly inclusive.

At St Peter's we aim to create a learning environment that is exciting, challenging, happy and safe with high expectations of the children both in work and behaviour. We place great emphasis on basic academic skills as well as developing children's all-round abilities in art, drama, dance and sport.

We believe in an effective partnership between school and home. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming school which listens closely to the views of children and parents. Therefore we operate an 'Open Door' policy and actively encourage parents to come into school and share any concerns that they might have with us.
